She is among the 1% of acupuncturists who hold the Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine degree (the terminal degree in the field of Acupuncture and Traditional Eastern Medicine with the highest level of training in both biomedicine and Traditional Medicine). In addition to her professional degree, she also has advanced training in mental health and functional medicine, as well as knowledge and experience of facial/ cosmetic acupuncture, both Japanese & the US styles.
While she was in the Master's program at Emperor’s College in Santa Monica, California, she also had additional training in gentle Japanese style acupuncture, Nei Gong, Qi Gong, and Tai Chi.
